Julie Dahlquist, Ph.D., CMT

Julie DahlquistJulie Dahlquist is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She serves on the UTSA Executive-MBA faculty and is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences. Her research has appeared in Financial Analysts Journal, Managerial Finance, Applied Economics, Working Money, Financial Practices and Education, and the Journal of Financial Education. She serves on the editorial board of the Southwestern Business Administration Journal and as a reviewer for a number of journals, including the MTA’s Journal of Technical Analysis.

Julie has co-authored two books: Technical Analysis: The Complete Resource for Financial Market Technicians (with Charles Kirkpatrick) and Technical Market Indicators: Analysis and Performance (with Richard Bauer).

Julie graduated from Northeast Louisiana University, Louisiana, B.B.A. with major in economics, summa cum laude. She received her M.A. in theology from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio and her Ph.D. in economics from Texas A&M University.
