About the MTAEF

The Market Technicians Association Educational Foundation (MTAEF) was established in 1993 as a non-profit organization, by the Market Technicians Association.

The original mission of the MTAEF was to create and fund educational programs in the field of Technical Analysis. Throughout the years, this mission has expanded to include the creation and support of a complete Technical Analysis curriculum that is now being taught in colleges and universities for college credit.

Through the support of the financial community and dedication of countless volunteers, the MTAEF continues to extend its reach into new colleges and universities around the world.

Learning About and Promoting Technical Analysis

The wealth of knowledge made available through the MTAEF Board of Directors and volunteers has afforded the association the ability develop three key ways in which it promotes the education of Technical Analysis. These include:

  • The development of a complete Technical Analysis course comprised of 12 lectures and all necessary charts and exhibits. Learn more…
  • The development of a one-day seminar in Technical Analysis designed as an introduction to the subject. The seminar is given as one 3-hour lecture or two 2-hour lectures by a speaker who is familiar with the entire 12-lecture course. Learn more…
  • The development of an affordable and accessible online course in Technical Analysis, as part of a partnership with the University of Maine at Fort Kent. This course is issued three times a year. Learn more…
